UK Farms

Haygrove Ledbury is our original home farm situated just outside the old but vibrant market town of Ledbury in Herefordshire, UK.  The farm is in a sheltered south facing valley, is approx 50 hectares, and specialises in blueberries, blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, and cherries as well as in organic strawberries.

Haygrove Kington in north Herefordshire, a 27ha site on the border with Wales, is our late UK season cherry site. Situated at a higher altitude gives the advantage of a colder climate, enabling the trees to harvest later than most in the UK, in August.  Kington’s light and free-draining, sandy topsoil is ideal for cherry growing.

Haygrove Newent, near another attractive market town, is a prime 52ha site and home to our nursery where we propagate our plants. Here we produce organic and conventional strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries, under both polytunnel and glass.

Haygrove Rhymney Valley & Riverside are glasshouse sites totalling 10.7 hectares, in and near Wales. Strawberries, raspberries and blackberries are grown in controlled environments with CO2, using equipment supplied by Haygrove Growing Systems.

Haygrove Sidlesham is an important partnership with Nick and Kathy Evans yielding annually more than 300 tons of berries on the South Coast of England. They are quietly some of the best growers we know in the world.

The UK Growing business has other smaller sites as well as the 5 main farms.
